Isoroku's Death Poem
I have no face
To show the living God
Nor have I words to speak
To the families of comrades who are gone
Beneath this sod
Old proverbs fade into homilies
My body is not of iron
But with iron will
I will drive deep into the enemy camp
I'll leave this humble soldier's blood to spill
As sparks and streaks of light escape this lamp
So wait a while, young warriors
Here, below the empire's sun
Below the empress moon
I'll fight this farewell battle
And I'll follow you
On your petal-strewn path
Someday soon
Isoroku Yamamoto
1884-1943

Sajak tulisan general perang Jepun lewat Perang Dunia Kedua kat atas kadang-kala berjaya meremangkan bulu roma aku. Terutamanya ketika dibacakan sewaktu aku di dalam mood `tenang'...

Sekian entri ingatan untuk `holly death'.

LW : no need to chase the thing that can come to us by itself.

TP : amacam, ok tak? sori susahkan kawan-kawan. sebenarnya tu dulu aku nak elakkan daripada menerima komen daripada makhluk luar sistem suria. kan diorang ni gunakan karakter huruf berbeza daripada penduduk bumi.
